ZANU PF Holds 21st National People’s Conference in Bulawayo

Bulawayo, October 24, 2024 – The Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) has kicked off its 21st National People’s Conference at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds in Bulawayo, running from October 22 to 27, 2024.
Under the theme “Industrialise, Modernise Towards Vision 2030,” the conference has brought together delegates from all 10 provinces, as well as representatives from civil society and ZANU PF’s diaspora structures.
In his opening address at the National People’s Cinference, Central Committee meeting, President Dr E.D. Mnangagwa emphasized the importance of robust party structures, stressing that Central Committee meetings are not mere talk shows but platforms for decisive action. He highlighted the need for genuine party structures, starting from cells and villages, and warned against waywardness and infiltration.
The conference is aimed at tackling key issues, formulating strategies, and reaffirming the Party’s commitment to national development. Delegates are expected to engage in discussions and make resolutions that will shape the Party’s and Government policies.
