NEVER TAKE THIS INDEPENDENCE FOR GRANTED:CDE MPOFU

ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Cde Dr Obert Mpofu has urged the youth to never take the independence they enjoy today for granted.
Speaking during an interview ahead of this year’s Heroes and Defence Forces celebrations next week, Cde Mpofu appealed to the youths not to be influenced by technology .
“The young generation or our youths are subjected to all sorts of information because of technology which may not remind them of where we are coming from. They enjoy to criticize and challenge because they do not know what we had to go through at that time,” Cde Mpofu said.
“It is incumbent upon the Party and Government to instill a sense of revolution to the minds of our people and our children. They should know what we went through before we took our independence.Thousandof our cadres who were massacred by the regime and yet what we see today are people taking this independence for granted.”
