ZANU PF Secretary for Health, Childcare and the Elderly, Cde David Parirenyatwa says there is need to promote vaccination and stay alert to COVID-19.
The pandemic has killed into millions globally since its first detection in the People’s Republic of China PRC resulting in many countries finding ways to keep their populace safeguarded. In its efforts to ensure lives are not lost, the Zimbabwean Government under the leadership of ZANU PF First Secretary and President E.D Mnangagwa has not only seen to the production of medical oxygen locally as well as PPEs but made sure its friends have assisted with vaccines. Vaccines from China and Russia are among some being administered to Zimbabweans countrywide.
Speaking during the Policy and Coordination meeting this week, Cde Parirenyatwa said while the situation is seemingly under control at the moment, people must stay vigilant.
“The situation is getting better but we must still be alert especially with the outbreak in Europe and Hong Kong. We must mask up, practice social distancing, wash our hands and sanitize our hands more often,” Cde Parirenyatwa said.
“We must also take a leaf from the President Cde E.D Mnangagwa who every time asks people to remain alert and promotes vaccination. Let us continue to be vigilant, be more conscious and observe the protocols.”
