YOUNG PEOPLE ARE THE FUTURE: CDE CHIWENGA

ZANU PF Second Secretary and Vice President Cde Constantino Chiwenga says the country must jealously guard its young resources.
This he said during the celebrations to mark the National Youth Day held in Harare at the Robert Mugabe Square.
The day was set aside to remember the work done by the late President Cde Robert Mugabe.
“It is the young people who represent the future of our nation. It is said that ‘he who has the youth has a future’. This nation has a future in that the majority of our population is the youth which is why we are here to celebrate this demographic endowment. We must jealously guard this young resource from diseases and drug abuse,” Cde Chiwenga said.
He added that the youth must possess an inward “desire to acquire knowledge, innovation and creativity. Hakuna chinokunda dzidzo, ndokuti mugovaka nyika yenyu.”
He added that it is important to grow into well cultured and principled members of society.
