President Mnangagwa’s ” Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo” mantra isn’t just true to historical references but is the practical solution to Zimbabwe’s western fashioned problems.
A tour of the country will quickly illustrate the success story of the 2nd dispensation.Massive infrastructural developments have been timely completed and commissioned, roads, dams, clinics,schools,airports, borders, water works. Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) in excess of Us15bn have trickled in to revitalize agriculture, mining and processing industry’s.
Tobbaco, Platinum, gold and lithium production in 2021 reached all time high and contributed massively to the national treasury.
An improved revenue collection has seen Zimbabwe trim its debt margins considerably progressive levels where Zimbabwe can now get international credit faculties that all nations need to build economies.
Not only has the introduction of Zimbabwe’s currency brought monetary and fiscal stability but success elbowed out the once rampant money changing and ponzi schemes that crippled confidence in the currency and sired hyper inflation.
President Mnangagwa government despite the perpetual sabotage and persecution by American and EU sanctions has silenced critics and given regional leaders a few notes to quote.
Zimbabwe has managed to rebuild and revitalize confidence in its institutions with little borrowing,Zimbabwe tops the covid 19 vaccination charts in Africa, rebuilt its roads, dams, revitalized public transportation(Zupco) as well as revamp food self sufficiency by generously supporting the small scale farmers through the presidential inputs and Pfumvudza schemes without borrowing or running on a budget deficit.
The success story President Mnangagwa government has caught the attention of global economic pundits, International monetary fund (IMF), World bank and Forbes who have indicated that in 2021 Zimbabwe realized a massive 6-7% growth in Gdp/capita and projected higher margins in this and the next annum.
Surprisingly this has happened when the government is being strangled by the illegal and unjustified regime
Change sanctions aimed at sabotaging the inevitable gains of land reform as well as futile attempts at divorcing Zimbabwe’s citizenry from their 4 decades of concordance with Zanu pf government.
The efforts of the former colonial master has become so desperate,following absolute failure to arm twist the voter to despondency, the regime change effort that the US has engaged since recalling its Envoy Brian Nichols, has stooped embarrassingly so low to a point where after failing to cause mayhem through sponsorship of a series hungry journalists, pastors, anarchist protests and fake abductions the US has moved to parcelling of millions of dollars through the UsAid to fund over 50 Non governmental organizations to carry out recruitment and campaign for the puppetry opposition in the rural population who have throughout all persecution and hardship have diligently remained loyal to the pro-people Zanu pf government.
Meanwhile the opposition has not done themselves any favors in their incompetent and corrupt metropolitan and urban councils that have run down to litter, sewage and slum in the last 20 years. The wreckage has been so rampant that the public is determined to restore administrative sanity in the impending by and general elections by voting out ailing opposition administration in cities and towns.
The success of President Mnangagwa’s administration is self vindictive.He has moved the focus of the country from warzone politics of the previous administration to production based economics and poverty eradication. His government has commissioned over 180 projects nationally while over 140 others are on course for completion.
There is no better political justice that the discerning voter can do themselves and future generations but to give a chance to the listening and delivering presidency of President Mnangagwa to complete its real time projects and lucrative vision 2030 and NDS1 blueprints.
It is only in the minds blinkered detractors to think that economic salvation must or will come from our former colonial masters.
Clearly it is only in the crevices of tomfoolery and racial inferiority complex that one may think western style democracy is the perfect form democracy that must be imposed on Africa .
We are Africans who have and value our various national peculiarities, as much as we have no obligation or complement to please any foreign body, country or organisation in how we run our government, laws, constitution , electoral processes etc..
Zimbabwe is a self determining and sovereign state that deserves to be run the Zimbabwean way and that is why the oncoming by and 2023 harmonised elections the Zimbabwean electorate will no doubt usher again the continuity of the successful Stewardship of President Mnangagwa.
