Councillor Shamu : A rare gift to the Society

In any society, development and empowerment starts at the household level and coordinated by the the local political leadership.
In this case Goromonzi North Ward 16 has made the correct choice by forwarding a development oriented Cadre for Ward Elections coming up in a few days.
ZANU PF has elected a household empowerment Champion Dr Aaron Golden Shamu as its Council Candidate in Goromonzi North Ward 16.
As we head for the polls let’s dissect issues likely to be solved by Councillors that affect people’s lives daily.
The first one is the issue of self empowerment and food security. In a rural setup this is achieved by sustainable projects and Dr Shamu is a German trained champion of Sustainable Development as he is the head of an organization named Zimbabwe Free Range Poultry Association which is working flat out to improve household earning by commercializing free range farming. The ultimate goal of the organization is to ensure food security, nutrition and empowerment at household level throughout the Country and in Ward 16, Cde Shamu hqs initiated and will continue implementing the projects and local level.
The other important issue to be considered by Councillors is the issue of health, water and sanitation. Dr Shamu a nurse by training (trained at Harare Hospital) and a water , sanitation specialist has the basic understanding of this field and will definitely be working hard to make sure the Clinic at Chinyika and Kubatsirana is rehabilitated and the requisite medicines are available. Empowerment of people starts with the health of individuals. At present 5 free medical checkups were conducted at different places in the Ward this was made possible by the Local MP Hon Bvute. The incoming Councillor has a good working relationship with critical stakeholders.
Aaron Shamu has a Doctorate in Business Development and has always focused on sustainable development. He will definitely use his educational background to teach the Ward how to change their lives in a sustainable manner.
Working together with Cde Aaron Shamu will transform Goromonzi Wars 16 to become a hub of sustainable development and empowerment using locally available resources.
