This he said when he addressed Politburo members along with their deputies at the Party Headquarters this Thursday.
He said the Party’s internal primary elections will be conducted this month.
“More importantly we must all gear ourselves to work with other structures in the ongoing mobilisation work towards our Party’s thunderous victory in the upcoming 2023 Harmonized General Elections,” President Mnangagwa said.
“The Party Manifesto must be finalised as the other critical aspects related to our internal election roadmap unfolds.
“We as ZANU PF will begin our internal primary elections from next week. Our Commissar Dr Mike Bimha will give the programme.”
President Mnangagwa insisted on a transparent election process adding that voter registration must not be left to chance.
“At the Party’s administration level, preparations for the holding of the internal democratic primary elections should be consistent and transparent. Equally all Provinces are directed to constitute themselves in readiness for this announcement to be implemented,” he said.
“Voter registration grassroots oriented mobilisation strategies centred at the cells and villages should continue. Nothing must be left to chance.”
