ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Cde Obert Mpofu has challenged members to defend the Party amidst attempts to soil it ahead of the polls slated for this year.
Speaking during the Policy and Coordination meeting at the Party Headquarters this Monday morning, Cde Mpofu highlighted that it is crucial for the Party to stay alert
“As we head towards the 2023 national Harmonised Elections, anti-establishment forces are upping their ante. The scathing documentary scheduled to be aired by Al Jazeera cable network indicates the opposition strategies to denigrate our leadership ans sow seeds of dissension to influence the election outcomes,” Cde Mpofu said.
“The Party will be confronted by all these antics and we should be alert to thwart such machinations.
“The concerted rebuttal of the documentary has resulted in the postponement of broadcasting it. This is a political psychological attempt to test our mettle and we should be ready to defend out Party.”
