“Our strides in engagement and re-engagement continue,” says ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Cde Obert Mpofu.
This follows the visit by Belarus President His Excellency President Aleksandr Lukashenko who is in the country on a three-day state visit to strengthen the Bilateral Relations between Zimbabwe and his country.
During his opening remarks to the Policy and Coordination meeting this week, Cde Mpofu noted that Belarus has contributed immensely to Zimbabwe’s mechanization programme.
“As you might all be aware, our strides in engagement and re-engagement continue and we welcome today’s state visit by the President of Belarus His Excellency Cde Alexander Lukashenko,” he said.
“Belarus has immensely contributed to our farm mechanization strategy and such bilateral will lead to concretization of more economic agreements.”
Meanwhile Cde Mpofu commended President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s recent visit to Senegal saying the Food Summit “resonates with the trajectory of achieving food security as a country.”
