WAR VETERANS LEAGUE SET FOR GO

ZANU PF Politburo member Cde Douglas K Mahiya says those who fought the liberation struggle will now be the only members forming what will be called the War Veterans League.
Speaking during an interview this Friday Cde Mahiya said “ZANU PF has put in place guidelines to incorporate the Military Organ that existed during the liberation struggle.”
“In this regard the War Veterans League will be constituted by those who joined the two Liberation War Armies ZANLA and ZIPRA and participated in the war of liberation.”
Cde Mahiya added that the roadmap has already begun with PCC meetings across the various Provinces set for this weekend.
He said War Veterans will vote for each other from District to Provincial and National Executive levels.
The War Veterans League Conference will be held from the 25th to the 27th of August.
