IDEOLOGY HAS NOT CHANGED:CDE CHIRISA

At least 20 students graduated from a two week long course of both the inaugural Chitepo School of Ideology’s handicraft and the Basic Orientation Course as the School moves towards arming economic soldiers.
Friday afternoon showcased a lot of excitement as the students embarked on a photos galore with their colleagues and lecturers.
Speaking during the closing remarks on behalf of the School Principal, Cde Austin Chirisa told the graduates never to underestimate the little part they will play in building their country.
“Don’t look down upon what you have learnt here as each of us have to play our part in building our country brick upon brick and stone upon stone,” Cde Chirisa said.
“Even during 1963, we were our own liberators by direct confrontation with the enemy. The ideology has therefore not changed. We are masters of our own destiny. We knew that others would die and that would be the price to pay for our freedom. This is what we must teach our children that we are free because sacrifices were made.”
The different students expressed their satisfaction at the Basic Orientation Course in that it had opened their minds to what they never knew before
