Borrowdale – Youthful legislator Hon Justice Mayor Wadyajena has told the Borrowdale Brooke Home Owners Association (BBHOA) to restore his vehicles’ tags status or else he would be left with no option but to approach the High Court. Hon Wadyajena, through his legal attorneys, said the actions by BBHOA was illegal as they were against the Association’s own rules.
Earlier in the week BBHOA through their Chairman the controversial Shingi Munyeza, wrote a letter which they went on to publicise alleging a violation of Association’s rules by the ZANU PF legislator.
Many commentators describe the action by BBHOA as unethical and pregnant with political inuendos.
“What is of interest is that Mayor was not accorded the right to respond and was subjected to public opinionated hearing. Where is justice (no pun intended) in this?” said one resident of Borrowdale Brooke who chose to remain anonymous in fear of a vindictive backlash
Shingi Munyeza is no stranger to controversy as recently there were allegations on social media alleging that the cleric was having extramarital affairs with girls in his church’s praise and worship team.
Munyeza alleges that his shenanigans were unearthed by known ZANU PF members.
In a letter addressed to one Farai Matanga who is the Security Manager of Borrowdale Brooke Estates, Wadyajena’s attorneys said: ‘Please be advised that your aforementioned conduct is downright illegal’
They went on to say neither the BBHOA constitution nor the rules bestow the Security Manager any authority to arbitrarily deactivate vehicle tags of residents.
The General and Chairperson were copied.
