ZANU PF Secretary for Health Cde David Parirenyatwa says as the winter season approaches, Zimbabweans must exercise caution and guard against COVID-19.
Speaking during a Policy and Coordination meeting held at the Party Headquarters this week, Dr Parirenyatwa said recent statistics showed that the virus is still present.
“COVID-19 is still with us with 19 cases reported but no deaths. There’s still a wave in Botswana and South Africa and as we get into June, we must watch out,” Cde Parirenyatwa said.
“We still insist on wearing of face masks and we urge people to get the first, second and booster doses as much as possible.”
Speaking during this week’s Policy and Coordination meeting Cde Mutsvangwa said President Mnangagwa had demystified the jinx that the International Monetary Fund IMF or the World Bank were financial experts.
“We may have dispelled the jinx or thinking that IMF or World Bank or financial experts are only in Washington. We are on top of the situation. As ZANU PF we have always delivered on our promises such as education, independence and the land. We are a Party second to none. Our last frontier is our national currency,” Cde Mutsvangwa said.
“There have been perceptions that ZANU PF haizivi mari. Gwendo guno, ZANU PF yakuziva mari. Our currency will stabilize because we have ousted those abusing our currency and have been hemorrhaging foreign currency out of our country.”
