PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA PAYS TRIBUTE TO WORKERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

President ED Mnangagwa has praised the efforts and honesty of workers in modernizing and industrializing Zimbabwe and says their hard work brings to reality the national development mantra, “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo/ ilizwe liyakwa ngabanikazi balo”
President Mnangagwa said this in his Workers’ Day Commemorations Speech.
“A prosperous society is possible if you workers continue to play your part. As a country we commend you for your efforts that have led to the current growth trajectory in our capacity utilization which is now at 66%” President Mnangagwa said
President Mnangagwa said through the hard-honest of the workers the Zimbabwean economy has now developed from stabilization to growth.
President Mnangagwa said the workers’ dignity, value, wages and salaries must be commensurate with resultant improving macro-economic fundamentals.
President Mnangagwa said the workplace must be a place of harmony and fulfilment. He said safety, health and wellness programs must be pursued with great vigour.
“It is my expectations that workplace programs be prioritized to prepare workers for retirement” said President Mnangagwa
