COMPLACENCY WILL NOT REVERSE GAINS: PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA

ZANU PF First Secretary and President Cde E.D Mnangagwa says COVID-19 complacency among Zimbabweans will not reverse the gains realised.
Speaking during the 359th session of the Politburo at the Party Headquarters this morning, President Mnangagwa said the war against the pandemic is not yet over.
“Let me once again emphasise that the war against Covid-19 is not yet over. We are reminded that ‘we can only be safe when everyone is safe,” he said.
“Complacency will not reverse the gains we have realised to date. I, therefore, urge Party structures to scale yo the mobilisation of the persons who are yet to be vaccinated.”
At least 4 136 000 people have received their first dose whilst 3 147 000 have received their second dose.
