NEWLY APPOINTED PB MEMBERS ATTEND THEIR FIRST MEETING

Recently appointed ZANU PF Politburo members attended their first meeting today at the Party Headquarters in what has been termed “zvoto zvinemazera.”
The Politburo is one esteemed decision making body of the Party which meets at least once a month in order to discuss crucial issues occurring within the Party and the country.
This particular meeting comes at a time when the Party prepares for Provincial elections ahead of the country’s by-elections slated for the first quarter of the month and the 2023 harmonized elections.
First Lady Cde Auxillia Mnangagwa who is the Secretary for Environment and Tourism, Foreign Affairs Minister Cde Frederick Shava, Cde Oliver Chidawu, Cde Omega Hungwe were part of the meeting.
Speaking about his elevation Cde Shava said “I welcome the elevation and am honoured to be part of this meeting, having served in various portfolios of the Party as Chairman and the Central Committee. As we say ‘zvoto zvine zera’ and I am happy to be part of this one.”
Other Politburo members attended this meeting under different portfolios with Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa formerly Secretary for Science and Technology and Cde Kenneth Musanhi as Secretary for Production and Labour formerly Secretary for Gender and Culture among others.
