Women Pressure groups commit to 3 Days fasting for “Fadzai Mahere’s Deliverance”.

Devoted Women’s Coalition and Latter Day Women said they are having 3 days of fasting in response to the call by Civic Society leader Taurai Kandishaya to pray for MDC-A spokesperson Fadzai Mahere.
Addressing the media yesterday in Harare, Cde Kandishaya urged general citizenry, women organisations and the clergy.
“Allow me to appeal firstly to the women and men of God to come to Fadzai Mahere’s aid. Mahere will soon be a lot cause if we allow her to remain under bondage of Bitter Biti and US embassy.”
“Let us pray for her as a country… Secondly I urge women’s groups to help their fellow sister from the bondage she is emotionally, mentally and ideologically under as we speak”.
In response the Women’s organisations initiated 3 days of prayer and fasting for Mahere and called Biti to stop abusing a “young girl Fadzi.”
