Isolated thunderstorms expected: MSD

The Meteorological Services Department MSD has forecasted some thunderstorms in some parts of the country as the rainy season begins.
Sharing the forecast on its Twitter Page, MSD noted that scattered afternoon thunderstorms will be recorded while localized heavy downpours will be registered. Vumba, Victoria Falls, Kariba, Matopos and Chimanimani should expect a chance of thunder showers.
Some of the health tips shared by the Department included staying indoors during the hottest period of between 11am and 3pm, avoid taking shelter under isolated tree or shade during thunderstorms and keeping hydrated among others.
