FORMER PASTOR AND GUEST RADIO PERSONALITY MABHAUDHI HAS DIED

Former Dutch Reformed Church of Zimbabwe pastor and radio personality Gift Mabhaudhi has died.
He was 68
Mabhaudhi was the only child to Faith and Mabhaudhi Mabhaudhi. He was born in 1953 and attended Chiware Primary School before enrolling at St. Augustine’s Mission in Penhalonga.
He later moved to Chinhoyi where he started working before joining the National Railways as a security guard.
Mabhaudhi later went to work in Victoria Falls where he married his wife Kuraimunashe. He studied for a Diploma in Theology at Morgenster Bible Correspondence College. He then joined Radio Penya and later took up training in communication specialising in Radio Production.
Mabhaudhi became popular for presenting Radio Zimbabwe’s ZVIDZIDZO ZVEBHAIBHERI
The death of Gift Mabhaudhi was confirmed by his son Rowdy Mabhaudhi writing on microblogging site Twitter where he said:
”My father Mufundisi Mabaudhi, most of you know him from radio programmes, Zvidzidzo Zvebhaiberi, Chikritsu neTsika, Sunday morning service. He is no more, vadanwa naMwari vakadavira. I’m not okay!”
