October 8 will go down as one of busiest days for the hard working President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
At 7am, ED as the President is popularly known by admirers both in Zanu PF and opposition parties, was already in office preparing the day’s assignments.
Earlier on, President Mnangagwa presided over the 12th graduation ceremony at Harare Institute of Technology (HIT).
While at HIT, President Mnangagwa laid a foundation stone for the Multi-Laboratory Research Plaza at the school’s campus.
The Multi-purpose Lab Research Plaza is a 3 storey building structure housing 9 labs, 2 boardrooms, 1 entrance hall, 1 internal courtyard, 20 offices, 1 open plan, 1 consultation room, 5 kitchenettes, 12 storage rooms, 7 ablutions, 2 seminar rooms and 3 balconies.
The Research Plaza will enhance the Institute’s research, Innovation and commercialisation ecosystem by providing high-end laboratories in areas such as machine learning, biomedical engineering, machine design, cyber security, drug discovery amongst others.
After the HIT function, President Mnangagwa launched the National Fuel Management System at Trek Pomona.
In all the above functions, President Mnangagwa is proving to Zimbabweans that he is geared to make Zimbabwe better than he found it in 2017.
ED is turning around the fortunes of Zimbabwe much to the discomfort of his rivals who wished him to fail at all costs.
With the guidance of the fighting spirit of Mbuya Nehanda, ED is clearing the path for the country’s prosperity.
President Mnangagwa has delivered beyond expectatuon and deserves another term of office.
