ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Mike Bimha says the coming on board of affiliates to the Party must spell a resounding victory in next year’s Harmonized Elections.
This he said during a meeting with various affiliates held at the Party Headquarters this Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Cde Bimha challenged the affiliates to be organised and not fish from already existing Party structures.
“Our 2023 slogan is targeting our vision as we move ahead. President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa says noone and no place should be left behind which is why we have seen many affiliates outside the Party structures mobilising. We are going to win and we want a resounding victory in order to shame the opposition,” Cde Bimha said.
“I encourage you to be organised and come with a vision to help surpass our five million membership target. The Party cannot win without registered voters and so we must help each other and continue to support the President and the Party in order for the work being done to continue.”
Speaking at the same event Secretary for the War Veterans League Cde Douglas K Mahiya challenged the affiliates present to have something to do with the revolution.
“We had a very successful War Veterans League Conference and our theme ‘Force of the past, Power of the present, Inspiration of the future’ which has to be taken into consideration by you affiliates,” Cde Mahiya said.
“Do not forget yesterday and today must swallow its pride in order to have a future. Every affiliate must have something to do with the revolution.”
Numerous affiliates among them Rastas for Economic Development, Destiny for Africa Network, Vatendi for Economic Development, Vendors for Economic Development, Soccer Players for Economic Development were part of the meeting.
