PRESIDENT WARNS AGAINST COVID-19 COMPLACENCY

President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa has warned against COVID-19 complacency ahead of the festive season.
Many have died while others have suffered immensely at the hands of the pandemic with numbers reaching millions globally.
Speaking during the burial of the late Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde S.K Moyo at the Heroes Acre yesterday , President Mnangagwa urged everyone to adhere to health regulations.
“As we approach the festive season, I call upon you, fellow countrymen and women, to continue complying to the World Health Organization public health protocols, guidelines and procedures for containing the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Social distancing, masking up and sanitising are some of the regulations shared by health officials in order to guard against the negative effects of the pandemic.
Meanwhile over three million six hundred and seventy one thousand people have received their first dose while two million seven hundred and forty seven thousand have received their second jab.
