Civic Society Leader Taurai Kandishaya affectionately known as Anti-Gakanje has divorced himself from the Biti Saga saying he was not tailing Biti as alleged.
Addressing the media today in Harare Cde Gakanje said Biti is a just a bitter man out of sorts.
“Biti is a bitter man… yesterday I was surprised to hear that i was supposed to be in a car trailing the Vice President of the MDC Alliance, a one bitter Biti.”
Yesterday MDC propagandists where accusing Anti- Gakanje and Yeukai Simbanegavi of stalking Biti and later kidnaping the well-fed MDC-A Vice President.
However Anti said he was in the presence of over 50 people on the day when Biti is said to have been abducted.
“…Now not only was I nowhere near Biti at the said time I was part of a progressive dicussion which invovled an audience of about 50 people.
“Amongst witnesses to my attendance were MDC Alliance affiliate SRC president for UZ Lenox Machoko and the MDC T youth league National Sec for Legal affairs Ashley Hongoro who were part of the discussions well as these parties’ supporters,” said Anti.
Anti-Gakanje said he had in his possession, incriminating evidence that pointed out that Biti was at a brothel during the time of his alleged abduction.
“We know someone was at a brothel with a paid woman bitterly enjoying his bitter time there at the time they claim he was fleeing from imaginary enemies”.
“I mention this to disabuse the nation of false notion that I am a violent person.”
