ZIMBABWE TO CELEBRATE WORLD TOURISM DAY

Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry will on the 25th of September join the rest of the world in commemorating the day whose industry has been seriously affected by the covid-19 pandemic.
The day was set aside by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation UNWTO to bring awareness of the importance of tourism and its economic, social and cultural value as a low hanging fruit.

This year’s celebrations will be held at Paradise Pools in Bindura Mashonaland Central Province.
This year the day is being held under the theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth.”
