{"id":1518,"date":"2021-10-16T09:00:56","date_gmt":"2021-10-16T09:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.zanupfpatriots.com\/?p=1518"},"modified":"2021-10-16T09:00:59","modified_gmt":"2021-10-16T09:00:59","slug":"president-mnangagwas-game-changing-reforms-in-agriculture-creates-new-millionaires-in-town","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.zanupfpatriots.com\/index.php\/2021\/10\/16\/president-mnangagwas-game-changing-reforms-in-agriculture-creates-new-millionaires-in-town\/","title":{"rendered":"PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA&#8217;S GAME CHANGING REFORMS IN AGRICULTURE CREATES NEW MILLIONAIRES IN TOWN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>By Taonga Botolo<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wheat farmers in Zimbabwe are all smiles as they reap fruits of their hard labour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year Zimbabwe has registered record harvest numbers compared to previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The farmers are on course to deliver record breaking 450,000 tons of wheat this season to the Grain Marketing Board (GMB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zimbabwe needs at least 400,000 tons of wheat annually to meet demand, and low wheat output has over the years forced the country to rely on imports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the harvest of 450 000 tons of wheat, the country is set to have a surplus 50 000 tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such is the success story.
