The official day when this forum was formed is 16th March 2014. It started as an idea on Facebook that eventually saw 12 Cdes being the pioneer members to start the group. The group has since transformed from the way it was on the 16th day of March in 2014 and now houses over two hundred Cdes. From 2015 the Admins decided to commemorate the 16th March as ‘PATRIOTS DAY’. The commemorations were low key with members sharing their experience on the day. In 2017 we decided to go a notch higher and meet as Patriots in celebrating the day. The result was phenomenal as Patriots from all walks of life converged in Harare where we started the day with philanthropic activities at Mathew Rusike Children’s Home before drinks and braai were served at Dr Shamu’s place to cap a fine productive day.
